Hope Water International (HWI) was launched in 2017 from Hope Water Project (HWP) as an effort to have a wider reach and impact on individuals, churches, and organizations to help provide access to clean water worldwide.
We have witnessed firsthand how access to clean water not only saves lives, but creates a life. With each well, communities are strengthened and villages grow, health is restored, lives are saved, and thousands of people hear the Gospel for the first time.
Over 5 years, more than 100 wells have been installed in some of the most remote and rural villages across Africa, bringing clean water and the Gospel to forgotten, yet beautiful groups of people.
Water is the most basic necessity of life; the lack of it is standing between millions of people and their health, safety, and the opportunity to unlock their true potential. Access to clean water is foundational to the development of any community. It restores hope and unlocks potential, bringing life back to a community.
Hundreds of millions of people around the world suffer without access to clean water.
Hope Water International partners with communities to bring clean water to beautiful, yet forgotten groups of people in Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Our current partners include:
When water is no longer a daily concern for these villages, education, friendship, and community can flourish. Digging a well does much more than meet needs—it creates opportunities.
But this effort isn’t just a one-way street. By working together to help others in need, groups build purpose and trust. Training for and participating in HWI fundraisers can forge lasting friendships, instill a sense of personal fulfillment, and build a vibrant community.
Our job isn’t done when the well starts pumping clean water. An integral part of every project is equipping local churches, partners, and third-party evaluators to carry on this ministry and maintain the well after we leave. We strive to live out and proclaim the Gospel through projects with long-term, sustainable results.
