Campaign: Grand Rapids Marathon
Team: Kensington - Grand Rapids

This will be my 3rd year running the half marathon (13.1 miles) for Hope Water. Each year my passion and love grows deeper for the people of the Pokot Tribe in Kenya, South Sudan and Uganda. Such beautiful people that live in the most difficult terrain in the world. Such beautiful people with huge, grateful hearts that live without a basic necessity of clean water. The woman and children of the Pokot Tribes travel on foot 3-6 hours a day to gather dirty water for their families. Water that is contaminated and can cause them sickness and even death.

Hope Water International's mission is to change this difficult situation by drilling as many wells as it will take to insure every one of the people can have access to clean water in this region of the world and hopefully beyond one day. And HWI believes by bringing clean water, we are being the hands and feet of our God. As it is written; "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" Matthew 25:40.

Much has been done already, but there is still much more to do.

I am asking you to strongly consider donating to this cause. I would be forever grateful as well as each one of the people of the Pokot Tribe.

Hope Water International is set up as a 501c3 so all your donations are 100% deductible.

Thank you for your consideration and God Bless!
