Water is the most basic necessity of life; the lack of it is standing between millions of people and their health, safety, and the opportunity to unlock their true potential. Without it, nothing can happen. Nothing can grow. But with it, everything changes. Clean water quenches thirst — but it also restores health. Access to clean water brings life back to a community. It restores hope and unlocks potential, bringing life back to a community.

I run for the people in remote and rural villages in Sierra Leone. The people in Sierra Leone are extremely impoverished, neglected, and marginalized; which is why we are committed to investing in their lives through helping their gain access to clean water.

Hope Water International works with trusted partners on the ground to drill wells. Through our partner organizations, we steward the appropriate amount of knowledge and resources that are sustained through a high degree of local project ownership. Our project crews navigate unimaginable terrain, drill wells and maintain equipment, and assist in building flourishing communities once clean water is flowing.

On October 17, 2021 I will be running in the Grand Rapids Marathon (yes, all 26.2 miles of it!).

I am running to raise money to drill wells that will give people access to clean water.
Please consider contributing to my fundraiser. With your support we can change lives.
