My dad passed away ten years ago at the age of 62. His sudden loss and a health diagnosis I received shortly after this, left me believing I too would die at a young age. My wife and a few good friends, challenged this belief and suggested I could do something to increase my chances of living long enough to see my son become a middle aged man with a family of his own.
I accepted an invitation to attend Daybreak Church. There I learned more about a ministry (Hope Water International) that is providing water to people in Sierra Leone. Not only are they being provided a sustainable life changing resource (clean water), but they are also being presented with the Gospel. Here in the United States, many of us take clean water and The Good News for granted. I am praying for humility, healing, and gratitude for all the Lord has provided me with.
I have committed to training for the next 26 weeks in order to participate in a half marathon on October 17, 2021. I am inviting you to join me on this journey. Together, not only will our lives change, but we will impact eternity and bring Glory to Our Heavenly Father !
