Our basic needs are met. For the most part, we have food, we have a roof over our heads, and perhaps most importantly, we have clean water to drink whenever and wherever we need it. We’re fortunate because we don’t have to carve out hours of our day just to draw water.
For our friends in Africa, though, the situation is quite different. Every day, they must travel on foot up to five miles to get dirty, disease infested water. This water isn’t always available where it once was, so our friends find themselves moving from place to place in search of it, making life uncertain and community next to impossible.
We can change that, though! Every dollar we raise goes toward building a well for clean water. With this clean water comes better health, a greater sense of security, and increased community. Schools can be built and people can hear the good news of what Jesus has done for us all.
