Dear Family and Friends!
Most of you know that over the past year I trained and ran in the Grand Rapids Marathon, while raising money to build water wells in Sierra Leone, Africa, for villages without clean water. A lot of you also know that I just went on a mission trip to Sierra Leone this past May to visit some of the wells we put in, and to meet some of the lives we helped impact. I would have never thought I would be where I am at now, but I was willing to take a step towards something I never imagined doing, running a marathon. I never signed up for the self reward/accomplishment of finishing, I signed up because I wanted to be part of something bigger then myself, and help impact people that don't have the most vital thing we need to live. I have been blessed with an awesome team, community, family of runners that are all working together to raise money for our brothers and sisters without clean water. After visiting some of the villages and seeing how appreciative they are to have something so basic as drinking water, reassured me of how important this is to me. So with that being said, I am training and running the Grand Rapids Marathon again in October and I am asking for your support! This was one of the hardest things for me to do, ask people to donate, but any donation is appreciated! Thank you so much for the love and support!

God Bless
