From making two trips to Africa, I have seen firsthand the hope and transformation clean water can bring to a person and a community. And while we have made tremendous progress over the last five years, there is more work to be done.
I also know simply wearing a jersey or completing a race will not bring clean water, education, or HOPE to people in desperate need of clean water. The process starts with a well...and this requires funds. And I would be dishonest if I said I am participating in events to help solve this problem. The truth is, my runs, rides, and swims are a bit more selfish. I enjoy testing my physical abilities to see how far I can go. But the cause on my jersey and the need I saw in Africa is real and this is where I need your help. I am not asking you to donate because I am competing in a race. I am asking you to donate because the people we are supporting do not have a Plan B. Without funds, the jersey and races will have no meaning except to satisfy my personal agenda.
So please partner with us to bring the most basic necessity of life, clean water, to forgotten yet beautiful groups of people in Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
